A shelter home with the capacity for 15 persons which exists due to the constant threat of displacement for the transgender community. The shelter home is staffed and cared for by members of the community in custodian roles. All amenities including food are provided to residents free of cost. The khawaja sira community regularly is thrown out of their homes, have landlords renege on rental agreements, or face threats of violence, or need help escaping dangers to their life, wherein the Transgender Shelter Home provides them relief. It includes a referral and awareness center and also provides entirely free of cost legal counseling, legal aid, psychological counseling, and medical facilities. Regular awareness sessions are conducted to increase outreach in regard to rights based learning and healthcare.
