Khawaja Sira Shelter Home & Community Centre

The Khawaja Sira Shelter Home is a refuge for transgender individuals who are homeless or at risk of displacement, providing them with a safe and supportive environment. This initiative by TRCP (Transgender Rights Consultants Pakistan) is dedicated to offering
essential services and fostering a sense of community and empowerment for the transgender population.
Accommodation: The shelter home offers housing for up to 15 individuals, ensuring they have access to basic needs such as food, clothing, and hygiene supplies.
Comprehensive Support: Residents receive legal aid, psychological counseling, and medical services. These services aim to support them through any physical or emotional challenges they may face.
Empowerment through Learning: Regular rights-based learning sessions are held, providing residents with knowledge of their legal rights, fostering self-confidence, and improving their social integration.
Transition Support: The shelter offers assistance in transitioning to independent living. This includes job placement support, skill development programs, and continuous guidance to help residents rebuild their lives
